Project Profile
Mt Albert
Grammar School.
Manurewa West School in Auckland has transformed their outdoor space with a new COLA Canopy® over the sports courts and two vibrant Star Shade structures covering their picnic area. These upgrades are all about creating a more engaging and functional space for students and staff, offering year-round protection from the weather while fostering a lively outdoor community.
The COLA Canopy®, featuring a sleek white frame and royal blue post pads, brings both style and practicality to the school’s multi-use courts. Students can enjoy sports and outdoor activities without worrying about Auckland’s unpredictable weather. The royal blue pads add a splash of color, enhancing safety and reflecting the school’s energetic spirit.
Right next to the COLA Canopy, the two Star Shade structures bring charm to the picnic area. With bright yellow frames and durable Monotec370 fabric in Bundena Blue, these shades provide superior UV protection, making it comfortable for students and staff to enjoy outdoor meals and gatherings no matter the weather. The cheerful color scheme brings a sense of positivity and joy to the space, aligning with the school’s commitment to a nurturing learning environment.
Manurewa West School is dedicated to building an inclusive, resilient, and supportive community. These new shelters help foster that by creating inviting, safe outdoor areas where students can relax, connect, or engage in physical activities. Built to last, these spaces are designed for the long term, ensuring they’ll be a hub for learning and well-being for years to come.
This investment in outdoor development underscores the school’s commitment to an inspiring, vibrant environment. These high-quality installations are a perfect match for a school that prioritizes community, safety, and innovation in its mission.
